Expert review

This short cartoon relies entirely on classic slapstick humor between Donald Duck and two mischievous chipmunks. The interactions are light and burlesque, with no real violence or anxiety-inducing tension. Donald gets hit by snowballs and ends up stuck in the snow, but everything stays firmly in the comedic register.

Synopsis

Donald needs a log for his fire. Unfortunately, the one he picks is occupied by a couple of chipmunks and their stash of acorns. When he cuts it down, Chip and Dale fall out, but their acorns stay behind, so they work at putting out Donald's fire and retrieving their stash. Donald, of course, takes this as calmly and cheerfully as you would expect.

Difficult scenes

Donald gets hit by a massive snowball straight in the face when he opens his door.
