Synopsis

A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

Difficult scenes

Devastated and polluted landscape revealed multiple times (visually striking) Massive destruction of Truffala trees shown in flashback (serious theme) Antagonist O'Hare uses intimidation and surveillance to control the town Some light chase and action sequences without violence

💬 Our analysis

The Lorax is suitable from age 8 onwards for its accessible environmental message and family humor. Some action sequences and minor tension may affect younger viewers, but the film remains generally gentle with a strong positive moral.
