Synopsis
An imaginative elephant named Horton hears a faint cry for help coming from a tiny speck of dust floating through the air. Horton suspects there may be life on that speck and despite a surrounding community, who thinks he has lost his mind, he is determined to save the tiny particle.
Difficult scenes
Chases and confrontations between Horton and various jungle animals. Threats to destroy the dust speck by other animals. Horton being imprisoned and put in danger by the animal community. Young JoJo's fears about disappointing his father and family expectations.

This colorful animated film is suitable from age 5. Conflicts remain mild and are resolved peacefully, antagonistic characters are not frightening, and empathy is the central message. A few chase and tense scenes may affect more sensitive young viewers.
