Calurosa Navidad is a Christmas special from the beloved Chilean puppet series 31 Minutos, famous for its absurdist and irreverent humor aimed at a broad family audience. The story follows Bodoque the rabbit, tasked with retrieving gifts from the North Pole, while his friends attempt to stage a chaotic holiday show back at the studio. Sensitive elements are limited to mild comic tension around temptation and failure, all handled in a slapstick and playful tone without serious consequences. Some of the show's signature indirect adult humor and wordplay may go over very young children's heads, though the overall tone remains warm and festive. Parents can reassure young viewers that Bodoque's misadventures are part of a fun comedy where everything works out in the spirit of the season.
Synopsis
Puppeton, the town of 31 Minutes, faces such an infernally hot Christmas that Santa Claus cancels his visit! Bodoque the rabbit heroically volunteers to rescue the presents from the North Pole, while his friends improvise a disastrous Christmas show. But what they don't expect is Bodoque giving in to some irresistible temptations along the way.
Difficult scenes
Bodoque the rabbit journalist gives in to temptations during his mission, jeopardizing his task of retrieving the Christmas gifts. This may create mild anxiety in very young children worried about Christmas presents, though the situation is handled in a comic and unthreatening way. The Christmas show organized by Mario Hugo and his friends descends into complete chaos, with a chain of blunders and slapstick mishaps. Children sensitive to failure or disorder may be slightly unsettled, though the tone remains clearly humorous and light.
